2018 IEEE 7th Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE 2018) was held in Nara prefecture on October 11. During this international conference, Konstantinos Karachalios, Managing Director for IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) reported that IEEE 2050-2018 Standard based on μT-Kernel 2.0 had been approved in the record shortest time for an IEEE standard. To commemorate the standardization, Ken Sakamura, Chair of TRON Forum gave a keynote speech.
