TRON Symposium Steering Committee (hereinafter called the SECRETARIAT) shall collect and use privacy information that can be used to identify an individual (hereinafter called the PRIVACY INFORMATION) for the sole purpose of organizing TRON Symposium, TEPS (hereinafter called the EVENTS), and performing the related services below.

1. Information dissemination from the organizer and the SECRETARIAT
2. Postal and courier service related to the EVENTS
3. Services related to the future series of the EVENTS such as 2017 TRON Symposium.

If a visitor determined the above services are unnecessary, the visitor can reject the use of PRIVACY INFORMATION for such services by contacting the SECRETARIAT.

If a court, administrative agency, regulating authority or other public institutions oblige the SECRETARIAT to disclose information according to laws and regulations for the purpose of public interests, etc., the SECRETARIAT shall not disclose the PRIVATE INFORMATION to a third party (except for relevant institutions which cooperate in running the EVENTS) without the visitor's consent, except when there is no rational reason for a refusal of the information disclosure and it is difficult to obtain consent from the visitor.

The SECRETARIAT does not supply the PRIVACY INFORMATION to a third party with the exceptions noted below.

If a visitor comes to a display booth of the EVENTS, and leaves a business card and/or similar information found in such a business card, or let the QR code printed on the theater pass be read there, then we regard that the visitor agrees the disclosure of the PRIVACY INFORMATION to the exhibitor at the booth.

If someone pre-registers a seat for the lecture and/or session in the EVENTS, we assume that we are given the permission that the name and affiliation used for the registration can be released to the lecturer of the lecture and/or session.

We handle the PRIVACY INFORMATION submitted by other means such as FAX or the registration at the registration desk on site in the same manner as we handle the PRIVACY INFORMATION submitted via the web page.

The Secretariat takes the utmost care in handling the PRIVACY INFORMATION so that it is not handed to an unintended third party.
