Greetings
Since the start of the TRON
project in 1984, we have been making efforts towards the realization
of "Computers Everywhere" - ubiquitous computing environments.
With cooperation from various people and organizations, our efforts
are now gaining world recognition. Furthermore, regarding the T-Engine
Project, which is the infrastructure for the development of ubiquitous
computing, many results including boards, middleware, development
environments and appliances have been achieved, and a number of
feasibility study experiments using the ubiquitous ID technology
have steadily been advancing to where now we have finally entered
the stage where "Computers Everywhere" will become a reality.
As we continue this project, the TRON Project Symposium is held
every year in order to introduce our activities to many people.
The "TRONSHOW 2006", held in December last year on a significantly
enlarged scale, achieved great success with many sponsors and exhibitors
participating. In addition, many important figures observed the
show, which means this show has been drawing increasing attention,
and expectations for the TRON Project is growing.
The 23rd TRON Symposium, "TRONSHOW 2007", will be held
at the Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, Tokyo, from December
5th through 7th.
At this year's symposium, the various suggestions for the construction
of the ubiquitous computing environment will be the main theme,
while introducing various achievements of the TRON Project. In addition,
the annual Enableware Symposium, "TEPS2007", will be also
held to provide an opportunity to consider supporting the disabled
with computers.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would support this symposium,
provide sponsorship and take part in it.

Basic Concept
¡üT-Engine
Project
- Providing an open and real-time system standards
development environment with the aim of building ubiquitous
computing environments where every physical object has a computer
incorporated in it and is connected to a network.
- All information on
T-Engine that is most suitable for developing so-called embedded
systems, such as mobile information devices and network-connected
home appliances effectively and quickly will be introduced.
¡üUbiquitous ID Technology
- The "Ubiquitous
Computer" is finally becoming a reality. The aim is to
establish basic technology that enables the automatic identification
of "physical objects", "locations" and "contexts"
in order to realize ubiquitous computing environments. At the
TRON show, you will experience the achievements of various feasibility
study experiments.
